Our prestigious client is an international fintech startup, operating in 23 countries all over the world.
We are looking for a

PR Manager

to join their team.
Location: London (Hybrid)

Your future role:

• Manage incoming leads and transform them into new clients for the business
• Create media partnerships in the financial, personal finance and/or tech scenes across the UK meanwhile making sure to highlight the company’s competitive edge in the process
• Create and implement effective public relations programmes in agreement with the product agenda, strategic plans and wider business objectives
• Explore and get a hold of proactive and reactive press exposure opportunities for the company
• Develop and manage the whole PR campaign for the launch of new products and services while making sure all coverage is aligned and consistent
• Assist to create a successful media response team who will be responsible for managing ongoing media requests as well as handle any issues in a timely manner
• Oversee, review, outline and maintain media exposure results
• Manage the development of relevant press assets (e.g. releases, briefing documents, boilerplates, media packs, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with social media, branding & SEO teams in order to ensure an optimal communication flow (both internally and externally)

Your profile:

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbally
• At least 5 years of working experience in a previous media relations role (in-house or agency) as well as working in fintech, financial/investment management or personal finance public relations
• Demonstrated experience of delivering high quality media coverage
• Solid network in top tier financial, retail investment and/or fintech media industries
• Sound knowledge of media databases and public relations tools (Signal AI, Cision, etc.)
• Strong networking capability with key media outlets and journalists
• Excellent time management skills with great attention to detail & ability to prioritise work tasks when needed
• Expertise knowledge of financial markets with a focus on investing
• Capacity to communicate complex subject matters in an easy and engaging way
• Agile personality with the ability to work and deliver to tight deadlines
