Risk/Regulatory Manager

Location: Budapest

Your future role and team:

In Risk Advisory, they help their banking clients transform their Risk Management to address regulatory change, enhance the accuracy of their modelling, improve business outcomes and increase efficiency.

As a manager of the high-performing FSI Risk & Regulation Team you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage various FSI risk management projects
• Build strong client relationships, and grow the Hungarian and regional footprint of our client
• Share knowledge and develop junior colleagues while coordinating their work
• Validate and review credit loss models
• Shape, interpret and implement regulatory change prescription patterns
• Explore forward looking areas such as machine learning and sustainable finance
• Work closely together with other service lines and teams in Hungary and Europe

Your profile:

• 6-8 years experience in the field of Credit Risk Management and/or other risk types preferably gained at a professional services firm
• 5 years regulatory expertise in banking
• People management and project management experience
• Strong interest in data science, portfolio and risk models, with a special focus on lending
• Strong ability to handle and analyze large datasets in Excel, additional fluency in software and languages, such as R, Python, VBA and SQL
• Working proficiency of Hungarian and English language is a must, German language is advantage
